Will call rentals are charged for time out and the rental starts when you pick up the equipment and stops when you drop it back off at one of our 3 locations. On a rental that is delivered, the time starts when the equipment is received and stops when the unit is called off rent to our office after a termination number is issued. Please make sure after termination the equipment is accessible and available for pickup and you are still responsible to keep the equipment safe, even after terminating the equipment. For days that it is raining, or any other exception occurs, and you cannot use the equipment we need to be notified in the morning of the day for us to qualify whether we are able to extend credit.

A valid California driver’s license is required for ALL rentals. A current utility bill or major credit card may be required as a second form of identification. Proof of insurance is required for truck rentals.

Rates for rental items equipped with hour meters are based on 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and 160 hours per month. Additional usage will be charged accordingly.

Damage Waiver

We charge a nominal fee of 15% on the rental rate unless an approved certificate of insurance is on file for all equipment rentals. On trucks our collision waiver is only $20 for 4 hours, $25 per day. Please refer to the rental contract to see exceptions and how our waiver policies protect you in the event of accidental damage to our equipment or trucks.

Availability/Reservations

Please call for item availability. Reservations are welcome!

Pricing

Prices are subject to change occasionally and please call for quotes. PDQ Rentals has a distinct advantage in that we don't charge tax on rentals or an environmental fee which most equipment rental companies do. If during one of our rentals you experience an operational problem with our equipment, please notify us immediately so we can get you up and running and note the contract if any credit or adjustment will be due.

Delivery and Pickup

Delivery and pickup is available from any of our 3 locations. Rates vary depending on the type of equipment and location being delivered to. All rental items should be gathered in a single location convenient for pickup. If you prefer, you may pick up and return your rental items to any of our 3 stores.

Responsibility

Responsibility for rental items remains with the customer from delivery to return. All items should be secured and protected from the weather. Additional charges for replacements are made for missing or damaged items.

Note: These policies do not supersede what is stipulated in the signed rental contract.
